A.V. Dicey (1885): (1) Parliament can make or unmake any law (positive limb). (2) No body can override or set aside an Act of Parliament (negative limb). (3) No Parliament can bind its successors (continuing sovereignty). Expressed in Pickin v British Railways Board [1974]: courts cannot question the validity of an Act.
