Honest answers
When does Caselaw New Zealand launch?
2027. Six universities, ~6,500 active LLB, ~1,500 admissions a year. We'll seed NZLII briefs in Q4 2026 and open the waitlist now to lock in launch-day discounts.
Where do the case briefs come from?
NZLII (free educational use, attribution) and Courts of New Zealand published decisions. We respect NZLII's rate-limit guidance — never bulk-train AI on judgments. Citations follow the NZ Law Style Guide 3rd ed (Geoff McLay et al, Thomson Reuters).
What does the Council of Legal Education curriculum cover?
Eight compulsory subjects every NZ admission requires: Public Law, Criminal, Contracts, Torts, Property, Equity, Legal System, and Legal Ethics. Plus Professional Legal Studies (PLS) for admission. Hit those well and you cover the whole LLB.
How does the price compare?
NZ$11.99/mo — Pro NZ. NZ$24.99/mo — Elite NZ with past-paper bank and PLS prep. Both materially under what NZ legal-publisher per-title prices add up to.
Will it work on mobile and offline?
Yes. The same React stack powering caselaw.UK works on every modern browser. Offline brief reading via service worker ships with the launch.
