Pro is R69/mo (R599/yr annual), Elite R149/mo (R1,299/yr). For students on a tight budget there's a pay-per-brief option at R5 per case (one-time, lifetime access to that brief). Stripe Tax adds 15% VAT automatically per SARS rules where applicable.
What's the difference between Pro and Elite?
Pro unlocks every South African case brief, the SACLE citation engine, all LLB doctrine notes (Constitutional, Contract, Delict, Criminal, Property, Company, Customary Law), all flashcard decks and the AI tutor. Elite adds Board exam prep with model answers and the Articles of Clerkship mock grader.
What's pay-per-brief?
If a subscription is too much, pay R5 to unlock one brief — lifetime access to that single case. Use it for the cases you actually need to study, build up over time. Many SA students use it during exam crunch and skip the subscription.
Where do the SA cases come from?
SAFLII open licence covers the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court of Appeal, all High Courts and the Labour Courts. We supplement with the official sa-judiciary.org publications database. ~140k judgments at launch.
Is the AI tutor Constitution-aware?
Yes. The tutor cites SA authorities first (Makwanyane, Carmichele, Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, Glenister, Mhlungu, etc.), respects the s 39(2) interpretive obligation, and handles the customary-law / common-law / statutory triple framework.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — for Pro / Elite subscriptions. Pay-per-brief is one-time so there's nothing to cancel; the case stays unlocked forever.
Is my data hosted in SA?
Currently Supabase EU-WEST (Frankfurt). SA data residency on the roadmap. Cross-border transfer arrangements detailed under /privacy. We respect POPIA requirements.
