On April 12, 2001, Mr. Justice Rouleau dismissed the said application without giving reasons. [2] On May 28, 2001, the applicant filed a Notice of Motion for an Interlocutory Order of Mandamus compelling the respondent to grant an interim section 56 exemption. This motion was heard by me of May 31, 2001. [3] The said Notice of Motion was made pursuant to Rule 372(1) of the Federal Court Rules which, I am satisfied, is not applicable. [4] Notwithstanding that the said application does not conform with the Rules of the Court and assuming the application would have been made pursuant to section 18.2 of the Federal Court Act, the evidence presented with the said application is insufficient for me to grant the relief requested. O R D E R [5] The application for interim relief is denied. [6] On June 4, 2001, the applicant filed a Motion for Extension of time to file supplementary submissions. TEITELBAUM, J:
[1] The applicant, Johnny Dupuis, filed on March 15, 2001, into the Federal Court Registry, an "APPLICATION UNDER Section 18(1) of the Federal Court Act". On April 12, 2001, Mr. Justice Rouleau dismissed the said application without giving reasons.
