ON APPEAL FROM THE APPELLATE DIVISION OF THE SUPREME COURT OF ALBERTA Contract—Agreement for sale of shares—Findings against alleged abandonment by purchaser APPEAL by the plaintiffs from the judgment of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Alberta[1], dismissing their appeal from the judgment of Ives J., dismissing their action, which asked for a declaration that the plaintiff Dallas was the owner of certain shares of the capital stock of the defendant company, standing in the name of the defendant (respondent) Webster, and for an order directing the defendant (respondent) Webster (who, so plaintiffs alleged, had abandoned his purchase of the shares from Dallas) to transfer the shares. At the conclusion of the argument of counsel for the appellants, and without calling on counsel for the respondent, the Court delivered judgment, dismissing the appeal with costs. ON APPEAL FROM THE APPELLATE DIVISION OF THE SUPREME COURT OF ALBERTA
Contract—Agreement for sale of shares—Findings against alleged abandonment by purchaser APPEAL by the plaintiffs from the judgment of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Alberta[1], dismissing their appeal from the judgment of Ives J., dismissing their action, which asked for a declaration that the plaintiff Dallas was the owner of certain shares of the capital stock of the defendant company, standing in the name of the defendant (respondent) Webster, and for an order directing the defendant (respondent) Webster (who, so plaintiffs alleged, had abandoned his purchase of the shares from Dallas) to transfer the shares.
