[2] In a letter accompanying his memorandum Mr. Guimond asked that the taxation proceed without a hearing and on the basis of the affidavit and evidence submitted. On March 22, 2001 a letter was sent to Jean Crête, the plaintiff's representative, inviting him to file his representations by April 13, 2001. As no representations have been received to date, the defendant's costs are accordingly assessed. [3] For fees Mr. Guimond claimed $700 under item 19, $515 under item 22 and $600 under item 26. [5] The defendant's costs are assessed and allowed in the amount of $1,215.00 for fees and $434.14 for disbursements. A certificate is issued in the amount of $1,649.14.
