The appellant entered the UK as a student on 26 September 2012. This leave expired on 30 January 2014 and he made an application to extend his leave on 28 January 2014. In a decision dated 31 March 2014 the SSHD refused to vary the appellants leave and the appellant appealed to the First-tier Tribunal.
This is a matter that has previously been considered by First-tier Tribunal Judge Smith having heard from the appellant at a hearing on 23 September 2014. The Judge dismissed the appellants appeal under the Immigration Rules and Article 8.

The appellant did not attend the hearing and was not represented. Mr McVeety asked me to dismiss the appeal.
