Caselaw for Universities
AI-powered case law, revision tools and SQE prep for your entire law department
Give every student AI case briefs, flashcards, quizzes, past papers and an AI tutor — for a fraction of what a research database costs. Start with a free pilot.
Built for learning, not just research
Research databases cost departments £10,000–£50,000 a year and stop at the raw authorities. Caselaw turns those authorities into something students actually revise from — at a fraction of the price.
Traditional research databases
- £10,000–£50,000 per year
- Raw case reports and statutes
- No revision tools
- No exam or SQE preparation
- Steep learning curve for students
- Priced for practitioners, not learners
Caselaw for Universities
- From £30 per student per year
- AI briefs that explain the ratio in plain English
- Flashcards, quizzes and revision notes built in
- Full SQE1 & SQE2 prep with model answers
- An AI tutor for every student, 24/7
- Faculty analytics on cohort weak areas
Caselaw complements your research database — it doesn't replace it. Students keep Westlaw or Lexis for primary research and use Caselaw to learn and revise.

Frequently asked questions
How does this work alongside Westlaw or LexisNexis?
It sits beside them, it doesn't replace primary research databases. Westlaw and Lexis are where students find the raw authorities; Caselaw is where they understand and revise them — AI briefs, flashcards, quizzes, past papers and a tutor that explains the ratio. Most departments run both: the database for research, Caselaw for learning and exam prep.
Is student data protected? Are you GDPR compliant?
Yes. We're a UK-based service and process data under UK GDPR. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts, never sell data, and offer self-serve data export and deletion. We can sign an institutional data processing agreement (DPA) as part of onboarding.
What subjects and modules are covered?
The full English & Welsh LLB core — contract, tort, criminal, constitutional & administrative, EU, equity & trusts, land, plus jurisprudence and many options. We also cover both SQE1 and SQE2 with model answers and mock exams, and have growing libraries for other common-law jurisdictions.
How does pricing scale?
Per enrolled law student, per year, billed to the institution — no per-seat admin for you. Pricing starts from £30/student/year and comes down with cohort size. We'll send a fixed annual quote so there are no surprises, and the pilot is free.
What does a pilot involve?
One term, one module, no commitment and no cost. We set your students up with full access, you watch how they use it, and at the end you decide whether to roll it out. No card, no auto-renewal.
