RANKING AND SALE—PROCESS.—The judgment pronounced in this process, on the 16th January 1838, having been appealed, one of the creditors made a motion before the Lord Ordinary to proceed in the ranking, who doubted the competency of such a step, and the point coming before the whole Judges, in the Robing-room, they were of opinion that all further proceedings were stopped by the dependence of the appeal.
