This stance was borne out by Mr Lafayeedney's lengthy witness statement, which denied any agreement between the parties, and made no concession that the Claimant was entitled to anything other than the return of the �350,000.

a) whether the document sent out by Mr Lafayeedney on 19 April 2004 recorded an agreement previously reached between the parties ( Section C2 below);

b) whether there was a unilateral contract between the parties in April/May 2004 ( Section C3 below);

c) whether the Claimant's acceptance of the 19 April 2004 document was communicated to the Defendants ( Section C4 below);
