The case originated in an application (no. 41090/12 ) against the Republic of Bulgaria lodged with the Court under Article 34 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (�the Convention�) by two Bulgarian nationals, Ms Nevena Petrova Rashkova and Ms Rayna Dyankova Simeonska (�the applicants�), on 19 June 2012.
The applicants were represented by Mr S. Petkov, a lawyer practising in Sofia. The Bulgarian Government (�the Government�) were represented by their Agent, Ms L. Gyurova, of the Ministry of Justice.
