the application (no. 30227/18 ) against the Russian Federation lodged with the Court under Article 34 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (�the Convention�) by a national of Uzbekistan, Mr Oybek Akramovich Yusupov (�the applicant�), on 6 July 2018;

the decision to give notice of the application to the Russian Government (�the Government�);

The main issues in the present case are whether deportation of the applicant to Uzbekistan and his treatment by officers carrying out deportation amounted to breach of Article 3 of the Convention and whether the Government of Russia, having failed to comply with an indication of an interim measure by the Court, have breached the applicant�s right of individual application under Article 34 of the Convention.
