This judgment was delivered in private, but the judge has given leave for any part of this version of the judgment to be published,
This case concerns the financial dispute arising out of the divorce between Mr T and Mrs T. I shall refer to them in this judgment as the husband and the wife for ease of reference, though I am well aware that they have been separated since 2013 and divorced since 2017, and I apologise if the nomenclature seems odd to them.
I shall begin this judgment by setting out (at a little length) some background facts and a relevant chronology to give the reader of this judgment an understanding a context for the issues I have to resolve.
The wife is also aged 53. In younger days she was a champion Irish dancer of some note and she still does some dance teaching, but her main employment is as a hospital administrator. She has also had some health issues, including suffering from fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis, but again they do not currently significantly interfere with her ability to work.
