                  The husband was obliged to leave Afghanistan for Iran in 1997 and was subsequently obliged to flee Iran in 2006 when he came to Ireland. The wife has resided in Iran between 1981 and 2019 when she and the children moved to Turkey. They are international protection applicants in Turkey since 18 March 2021. The husband is an Irish citizen since December 2021.
                  On 22 December 2021 the wife and children made four long stay visa applications to come to Ireland. These applications were refused on 10 June 2022 and following an appeal of 16 June 2022 a decision was made to refuse them on 01 September 2023 which is the impugned decision. Applicant's Position
