1.������ On the 18th of April 2023, Mr. Richard Walsh (i.e., "the appellant") was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Criminal Court, sitting in Waterford, of one count of assault causing harm contrary to s. 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act 1997 (i.e., "the Act of 1997").
