Pursuant to rule 14 of the Tribunal Procedure (Upper Tribunal) Rules 2008, the Appellants are granted anonymity.
No-one shall publish or reveal any information, including the name or address of the Appellants, likely to lead members of the public to identify the Appellants. Failure to comply with this order could amount to a contempt of court .
These are linked appeals against decisions of First Tier Tribunal Judge Ficklin dated 17 March 2024 dismissing each of the Appellants' appeals against decisions of the Respondent dated 7 December 2022 refusing applications for entry clearance.
The Appellants are citizen of Afghanistan. They are siblings aged 12, 11, and 7 respectively. The applications for entry clearance were made on 7 December 2021 alongside applications by the Appellants' parents and a paternal uncle. All applications sought entry clearance to join H (the Sponsor) - a paternal uncle of the Appellants with British citizenship.
The Appellants' applications were refused for reasons set out in 'reasons for refusal' letters ('RFRLs') dated 7 December 2022. For reasons that are unclear the applications of the parents and uncle were not determined at this time and, at the date of the hearing before the First-tier Tribunal, still remained outstanding: see Decision at paragraphs 1 and 12.
