In response, SCB contends that the DIFC Courts do have competent jurisdiction to determine SCB’s claims in these proceedings and that even applying the relevant provisions of the CPC, the Courts of Dubai (including the DIFC Courts) would also have competent jurisdiction to hear the present dispute.
